Play responsibly

Every game here is built to make money for the house over time. That is the deal, and it is printed on the tiles. This page is what to do if it stops being a game.

Tools in your account

All of these take effect immediately. Lowering a limit applies the moment you save it; raising one takes 24 hours, which is the entire point of it.

Deposit limit A cap per day on what you can put in. The most useful one, because it works before the money is in play. Set › Loss limit Counts stakes minus returns, not deposits. When it is reached, betting stops for the day. Set › Take a break 24 hours to six months. It cannot be cancelled, shortened or reversed — by you or by us. Your balance stays yours. Start ›

Signs worth taking seriously

None of these is a diagnosis. Any of them is a reason to use a limit.

  • Betting more than you planned to, more often than you planned to.
  • Chasing a loss with a bigger stake to get back to even.
  • Borrowing, or using money meant for bills, rent or people who depend on you.
  • Hiding how much you play from people close to you.
  • Playing to feel better rather than for entertainment.
